The Why

The idea for Scalio came from a core conviction - customer attention lives on digital channels, and growth is available for any business that shows up there effectively.

But for most smaller businesses, this is hard and creates a catch-22 situation: to grow, they need acquire new customers. For that, they need to execute good digital advertising systems. Yet most of them don’t have the skills to do it themselves, and they can’t afford to pay someone to do it for them. The virtuous growth cycle never gets kickstarted, it gets stalled instead.

We have lived on the other side of this. As performance marketers, we have seen what happens when the product offering is great and operations can handle demand: a ‘flow state’ is achieved where marketing campaigns scale, acquisition becomes predictable, and it seems like there is no ceiling to the growth you can achieve.

We have been playing with AI since its early days, and have seen it recreate more and more of the advertising process. It was first execution (copywriting, then images and video) and now parts of planning (creative strategy, competitor analysis, trend analysis). It’s becoming possible for a high-skill activity to turn into a software experience.

Our mission is to make that ‘marketing flow state’ available to every business from day one - regardless of their budgets or skills.
